Referee High School for the High School Season
OFFICIAL REGISTRATION FOR CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR
Before attempting registration:
- Read the Regulations for Officials.
- Review the Official Associations so you will know which association to join. You are required to choose
- ONLY ONE local association during the online registration process. To be a member of more than one local association, contact the state office for approval, go@tssaa.org.
- Please note that all officials must pass a background check. Criteria for this background check adhere to Tennessee state law. Failure to pass the background check, based on state law, cannot be appealed, and registration payment will not be refunded.
You are required to be part of TVSRA, as per TSSAA bylaws, you must join, which means you must attend 5 meetings yearly

*Note: Upon clicking on the link, you will be leaving the TSSAA website.
• All payments will be made online. Registration for the first sport is $80 ($10 required background check fee), and each additional sport is $70.
Registration opens every year on June 1 and closes the following May. You may register for all sports beginning June 1.
Once a sports season has ended, you would need to wait until the next open registration on June 1 to complete registration for that sport. Example: Football is a fall sport and concludes its season in December.

TVSRA Monthly Meetings: Tennessee Valley Soccer Referees Association has its monthly meeting every 3rd Monday of every month (no meeting in Dec.)
If you attend 3 meetings throughout the year you can re-certify next year on-line with no additional instruction either online or in person.
Membership in TVSRA: Membership is required if you wish to referee High School or KMSL the local adult league.
TVSRA – NEW MEMBER INFORMATION!
NOTE: Full-time High School and College Undergraduate students age 25 and under are exempt from dues for TSSAA assignments. For members joining between 16 April – 30 June, dues paid will also cover upcoming year.
